The Monument is over 150 years old. It was built in the 1850's and it is still standing at the heart of West Derby today. Originally built when the chapel was knocked down, it stands at the centre of the village near St Mary’s church.
We know matching football kits can be a significant financial barrier for many parents who have children wanting to play amateur football in our community, and matching kits should not just be for the privileged few. Having a matching kit can help children feel great and it creates a sense of identity and pride in their team.

The Blues Programme by Action For Children is an internationally acclaimed wellbeing programme for teenagers. It teaches emotional resilience, and reduces low mood and anxious thoughts. Crucially, it gets teenagers talking.
Our donation to the Merseyside Blues Team and HSIS Counselling Teams is a thank you for their continued hard work providing emotional support to young people across Merseyside and The Wirral.
We continue to support JJ ProActive Football Club junior players and proud of the wins the Bayern Munich Under 10's Team made this season.
Over the years we have have worked with many local schools in Liverpool and various organisations around Merseyside to provide free football kits to local teams.
We choose projects that engage and inspire our communities, young players and grassroots football.
Merseyside Junior Mentoring supports children aged 5-12 years who are experiencing difficulties which may be having a negative impact on their learning, confidence, and social skills.
Action For Children presented Joseph Ward, Director Electrical Engineering at Alphatec Group with a certificate to say thank you supporting Merseyside Junior Mentoring.
Our donation to the Christmas Pyjama Appeal helped distribute 250 pyjamas to children and families in our local community.
Back in 1996 our journey supporting our community began with our local Primary School football team.
